Concert incoming!
We have an upcoming concert on Saturday 31st January in Jesmond United Reformed Church! It will start at 6pm with doors opening at 5:30pm. We will be performing music from films, tv and musicals such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Game of Thrones and Beauty and the Beast!
Tickets will be sold on a Pay What You Can basis as we don't want anyone to be priced out of attending our concert! To book tickets or see more information, click the button below!
Join Us!
NESSOC is a non-auditioned group that meets on Tuesdays in St James's United Reformed Church, Newcastle. Our orchestra and a choir usually meet on alternate weeks (check our Schedule page). Rehearsals start at 6:45pm, with the venue open from 6:30pm, and will finish by 9pm.
We play a range of music from both the stage and the screen, including:

Video game soundtracks
We want anyone to get the chance to experience the joy of singing and/or playing music. As such, there are no limits to who can join. Even if we have 20 clarinettists, we'll still accept more! We do use sheet music, so being able to read music will help. However, this is not required if you're joining the choir.
